@drmaudio@JoeTegtmeyer@cybertruck@Tesla I tried to call them already a few times but their advisors don’t have any info to give me, they are also in the dark. Tesla customer order updates and overall experience is not good at the moment. None should go through this lack of service in this day and age.
Current update from Angstrom: Angstrom’s position (from its July 2026 court filings): Tesla sued the wrong company.
Angstrom Automotive Group, LLC (the named Michigan defendant) is inactive, has no operations or control over the tooling, and does not possess it. The Troy, Texas plant and most of the dies/parts are held by a separate non-party entity, Angstrom Aluminum Castings Texas, LLC (AAC-Texas), which acquired the former Anderton facility in late 2024/early 2025. Other tools are with still different companies.
Tesla relies on 2021 general terms that Angstrom Automotive signed years before AAC-Texas even existed. Under the governing California law, those terms do not automatically bind future affiliates. There is no direct contract between Tesla and AAC-Texas supporting the claimed right to seize the equipment, and Tesla has not shown it owns the tooling outright.
Angstrom also argues there is no irreparable harm—this is a commercial dispute solvable with money damages—and that any court order against the named defendant cannot properly reach the non-party holding the tools.
In short: wrong defendant, no binding contract covering the actual plant, and no basis for emergency relief.
Driving a Tesla is like using an iPhone 📱
Driving a gas car is like using a Blackberry 📟
The difference isn’t subtle once you’ve felt both.
Silent cabin instead of constant drone.
One screen instead of button overload.
Your car actually gets smarter every few months.
Gas cars still feel like they’re stuck in 2005.
