Yesterday was one of those days where I couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful for both my given and chosen families. I spent the majority of time with my chosen family this weekend, but yesterday I hung out with my brother and his family. It was incredible.

I love my friends. A lot. The last couple weeks has been filled with illness, a three day visit to the hospital, and some hang time with friends. I feel incredibly grateful. I know my 19 year old self would be so happy, knowing that I had friends.

Social anxiety is being in a place where I know people and have close friends, but I still feel as tho I am such an alien to humanity. It’s frustrating to say the least. That feeling of never ever actually fitting in any situation is so annoying as hell.
