Social algorithms based on your individual “interests” (content you engage with) will continue to cause great divides in the world.

You see what the algorithm thinks you want to see. We’ve decentralized everything, including the algorithms and we’ve lost our way.

My advice, go for a walk, read a book, volunteer, talk to your neighbours. They’re more like you than you think.

Social media has stolen our ability to be social.

The same thing has happened in mainstream media. It’s even more pronounced. But I’m not going to get into the capitalistic bull shit that has become “news” networks.

We are witnessing democracy and society spiral because we don’t talk to each other anymore.

I’ve decided to delete twitter from my phone. I’m not going to a new app. If you’re a business contact we can connect on LinkedIn and if you’re a friend, you’ve got my number.

The media and pollsters said this was a “change” election and yet the current governing party led popular vote and seat count.

Pretty good result, I’d say.
