We finally found a genAI use case that actually solves a real-life problem. and it WORKS!
Most genAI tools fail for two reasons:
1. They require manual prompting → you do extra work for questionable value.
2. The cost of hallucinations is too high → you can't actually trust them.
We are building at Beau a small tool for gmail that works in background:
connect your email — the tool tracks incoming mail — get a dashboard with key data from your inbox
How can genAI help automate $1,000/hr tasks? 🤔
Everyone loves the idea of using genAI to automate the work of lawyers and other highly paid professionals, whose tasks generally fall into two categories:
A) Data entry, document generation/reporting, spreadsheet work, analysis, and other repeatable tasks.
B) Client-facing activities like consulting, negotiations, strategy, and planning.
It’s relatively straightforward for an AI startup to offer solutions for the tasks in category A. But the catch is that these tasks can easily be delegated to interns or associates at a much lower hourly rate. So, the benefit of using genAI isn’t the 10x that many of us (founders) hope for.
So, the big question is:
How can genAI help tackle $1,000/hr work? Is it even possible? 😁
Can someone share an example of a web3 product that
a) could not have been achieved without blockchain and
b) does not depend on token value for monetization?
🤔

We are all trying to build SaaS products here with fancy dashboards and cool integrations here.
Remember @elonmusk tweet with a screenshot of his shareholder voting dashboard? Just an Excel spreadsheet…
At @BeauWorkflows, we also try to create convenient client-facing experiences for our customers.
But sometimes all you need is a spreadsheet, Google Drive and a bit of creativity. Voilà! You have a "good enough" customer-facing workflow that just works:
1. Put a bunch of customer files into a Google Drive folder.
2. Identify and extract unstructured data (name, document type, dates, etc.)
3. Pull data into a spreadsheet (but it can be sent anywhere)
So you don't need a fancy SaaS to build a reliable workflow...
I have plenty of examples of these “integrations” we’ve done with our customers. Just reply. I can prepare a short guide and send you a sample!
