π We have now closed the A57 Snake Pass, A537 Cat & Fiddle and A53 Buxton to Leek because of snow.
We've a snow plough on the way to the Taddington bypass on the A6 to start clearing the snow there.
@mikeday63@SnakePassRoad It's horrendous this! Must be loads of us reporting it. Swear was worse this morn, some are nearly impossible to avoid now as spread all across the lane and metre plus long!
Seeing reports on fb that #snakepass accident - car overturned 'just past summit' - not sure which side
Road is treacherous, black icy and visibility seriously reduced - DO NOT DRIVE over the Snake Pass
@SnakePassRoad Thx for this update. Been pondering all eve, caller 999 as when drove over at 5 saw what could have been a vehicle in the field near all that ice, couldn't stop and hard to see in near dark. If someone had gone off road hope they R ok π€ice is bad there.
What a difference a day makes! Spine runners disappearing into the clag yesterday & then todays π and views! Obligatory caffeine (me) and puppacinos after today's run ππ (they aren't always this lucky!) 31 running miles for #NHS1000miles

Been terrible posting over recent months π¬ life just gets in way eh π€· but final tally for #NHS1000miles is 1358 miles of running, not as good as previous years but running with pals, running in the hills, and running with my dogs are what it's about! Look forward to 2024!
Thanks @YorkshireWP and @SheffieldHosp for the tickets to the park! Finally made use of them and it didn't disappoint! Even dodged the rain! Highlights were the dinosaurs, the playgrounds (obvs) and the tiger π― roaring loudly...we will be back!
