“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love.”
– Nelson Mandela
#MondayMotivation#NoToHate
No matter what it looks like, hate speech online can cause harm in real life.
We can never let hate have the last word.
Join me in taking action and saying #NoToHate.
We must continue to combat racism, xenophobia and intolerance faced by people of African descent.
The needs of women & girls in this community must be considered in the pursuit of access to justice and the right to non-discrimination.
#RememberSlavery
Education is the most powerful weapon to #FightRacism.
We must learn & teach the horrific history of slavery, so we help guard against humanity’s most vicious impulses & unmask the racism of our own time.
We must do so until every person can live a life of human rights.
Abuse is interactions in which one person behaves in a cruel, violent, demeaning, or invasive manner toward another person or an animal. The term most commonly implies physical mistreatment but also encompasses sexual and psychological (emotional) mistreatment.
Advancing gender equality requires equal access to resources and opportunities, such as education, health care, and employment. To ensure this, countries must invest in initiatives and enact laws to protect women and end gender-based violence.
Every human being has rights including women, girls & children. Let's respect the rights of everyone. Women's rights are human rights. #StopGbvAndFemicide#HumanRightsDay
