At the Bring Back the Magic event today, marking 30 years since international services began at Ashford, I spoke with Michael Keohan about the progress we’ve made, the support from the Government, and the work still to do to bring services back to Kent.

According to recent reports, the driving test backlog could last until 2027. We need to get a grip on this issue now so that no more dodgy driving schools profiteer off learners' desperation.

The Government has already taken decisive action so that only genuine learners can book their own tests.

But we have to scrap test swapping.

This would completely stop the ability to sell test slots. Stop the scam!

I’m delighted by today’s announcement that the Government will raise the inheritance tax threshold. I’ve met with farming and rural groups including the CLA and NFU and raised their concerns with Ministers. This is great news for family farms and rural communities.
