INSANE!!! Salt Lake County had the THIRD HIGHEST rate of immigrant arrivals in the U.S. and Utah SIXTH in the nation ahead of CA, NV, and AZ.
All allowed under “red” state leadership.
Deport every single one NOW. Remember who the traitors are who allowed this.
Earlier this year, President Dallin H. Oaks repeated the warning issued by President Russell M. Nelson from general conference in April 2018:
“In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.”
What do you do to rivet your attention, to assure that you survive spiritually by having the constant influence of the Holy Ghost?
You look carefully at your daily activities. Am I praying? Am I thoughtfully partaking of the sacrament? What am I putting into my mind? Am I associating with others who seek the constant influence of the Holy Ghost? What could be my distractions, my obstacles, or my deceptions?
I invite you to pray for inspiration and courage to make any changes you need to make.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died and rose again — not because of archaeology or history, but because of testimony. That’s what the Bible and the Book of Mormon both offer.
A lot of people say they believe the Bible because of “evidence,” but when you really look at it, those evidences usually rest on the same thing: the testimony of witnesses. At the end of the day, we’re all trusting someone’s account.
That’s what makes the Book of Mormon so powerful. It gives us another set of witnesses of Jesus Christ. The more witnesses we have, the stronger the case becomes.
And then there’s Moroni’s promise — that we can ask God directly and receive confirmation through the Holy Ghost. That’s the most beautiful part. God doesn’t just expect us to rely on ancient witnesses. He offers to witness the truth to us personally.
I think that if we are honest that in an ideal world, children would be homeschooled by their parents because their parents would have the time, resources and presence to do it.
This isn’t condemnation of public school parents. It’s condemnation of a society that created the chaos of separating children from their parents for multiple hours a day and have pushed women into the workforce so that it stays that way.
@rwhofut@NormieUtah The caucus system works if the population is engaged. Everyone has a chance to vote for their delegate at the caucus meeting. People are just lazy and can't be bothered. I was a delegate this year and spent about 50 hours researching candidates. Average voters won't.
@Sassafrass_84 I have been a Constitutional Conservative my whole life. It was pretty normal back in the 70's. Now some family members call me a "right-wing nut job"; saying I am an extremist. My politics haven't changed at all, just the perception by the country has changed.
@mattvanswol Black on White crime is accelerating and the media doesn't care because it doesn't fit their narrative. Only 8% of the world's population are White. POC are NOT the marginalized and oppressed.
@data_republican It is strange. You're still the same person in your mind, but your body gets old and starts to fail. I turn 70 this year and 3 of my siblings were dead before they turned 70. We never know how much time we have left. Just love your family and be in their lives.
In the fall of 2024, Special Agents of the @UtahAG realized that @GovCox did not have the needed signatures to appear on the @UtahGOP 2024 Primary ballot. They went to @LGHendersonUtah office to obtain Cox signature packets that were submitted by a signature gatherer named Rocko. State Elections Director @RCAggie makes a fool of himself trying his Jedi mind tricks on the Agents, in an effort to get them to stop their investigation. As does Assistant @UtahAG Scott Cheney.
@japan_nobunaga China is quietly sitting back, waiting for everyone else to delete their weapons in these wars. When they finally strike, it will be hard and fast
Here's my wife's entry in the Utah Quilt Show, which is going on at the Springville Art Museum. As usual I'm amazed at the quilts in the show and at the art form generally. More quilts in the replies 👇
I wish to sound a voice of warning to this people. I solemnly declare that this spiritual kingdom of faith will move forward with or without each of us individually. No unhallowed hand can stay the growth of the Church nor prevent fulfillment of its mission. Any of us can be left behind, drawn away by the seductive voices of secularism and materialism.
To sustain faith, each of us must be humble and compassionate, kind and generous to the poor and the needy. Faith is further sustained by daily doses of spirituality that come to us as we kneel in prayer. It begins with us as individuals and extends to our families, who need to be solidified in righteousness. Honesty, decency, integrity, and morality are all necessary ingredients of our faith and will provide sanctuary for our souls. - James E Faust
I used to think personal revelation was mostly for big life decisions — like where to live, what job to take, or who to marry.
Over time I’ve learned it’s actually much more ordinary than that. It’s how the Lord keeps me on the covenant path every single day.
Most of the time it comes as small impressions. A thought to reach out to someone. A feeling that I should slow down and pray before making a decision. A quiet nudge to apologize or be more patient.
Sometimes it’s gentle course corrections. I’ll feel uneasy about something that looks fine on the surface, or I’ll suddenly have clarity about a situation I’ve been wrestling with.
And sometimes it’s just quiet reassurance. When I’m discouraged or carrying something heavy, I’ll feel the Spirit remind me that I’m not alone and that Christ is aware of me.
The more I act on these small impressions, the more clearly I recognize them. It’s become one of the most practical ways I experience the reality of the Restoration in my daily life.
God still speaks. Not just through prophets, but to His children — including me. That truth has changed how I approach every day.
