“He aprendido que la paciencia es una forma de inteligencia. No todo tiene que resolverse de inmediato, no todo tiene que tener una respuesta clara. A veces, lo mejor que puedes hacer es respirar, observar y permitir que las cosas tomen su curso. La vida no siempre es una batalla que hay que ganar, a veces es un río que hay que aprender a navegar.”
Viggo Mortensen

Why Kids’ Training MUST Be Fun
(Or they won’t move.
And if they don’t move, they won’t develop.)
Fun isn’t entertainment.
Fun is engagement.
If kids enjoy it, they choose it.
Chosen movement → repeated movement → better athletes.
Fun = More Reps
Not forced reps.
Not coached reps.
Self-driven reps.
Reps = development.
When training is fun, kids:
• Try harder
• Move longer
• Explore more
• Take healthy risks
• Build confidence
• Bounce back faster
Games teach what drills can’t:
Reaction
Timing
Balance
Creativity
Flow
Real-world agility
This is athletic IQ.
Kids don’t quit because they’re “not good.”
They quit because it stopped being fun.
No fun → burnout.
Fun → long-term development.
A child’s brain learns through:
• Play
• Curiosity
• Imagination
• Chaos
• Movement problems to solve
Not lines.
Not lectures.
Not rigid drills.
Fun is the foundation.
Fun is the accelerator.
Fun is the secret.
If you want better athletes,
give them better activitiesto explore.

5 Insanely Simple Squat Technique Tips I Use Every Session 👇
These are the cues I use every time I squat to stay tight, stable, and move more weight safely.
They’ve helped me squat over 800lb in competition.
✅ Pull elbows down & back Engage lats and upper back. Bar feels lighter, torso stays stable.
✅ Flex your abs like you’re getting punched Tightens the core, pulls ribcage down, stacks your torso.
✅ Tuck your head & neck before descent Keeps traps and upper back tight so you don’t tip forward.
✅ Torso lean to keep bar over mid-foot Everyone’s different..lean enough to stay balanced, vertical enough to load the legs properly.
✅ Drive your back into the bar out of the hole
Helps torso return to vertical quickly and keeps bar path clean. My favorite cue ever 😅 (Anyone who’s ever been to a meet with me knows this.)
Bookmark these and give em a shot on your next squat session 🚂
Luke Kuechly has one rule for his teams: "If you're not running, we'll take you out. I don't care if you're the best player on the team."
His advice for young athletes comes down to 3 things.
Simple, powerful, and effective for life and sports.

Nick Saban nailed it.
- Entitlement gets you nothing.
- Excuses get you nothing.
- Lack of effort gets you nothing.
Show up. Lock in. Do the work.
“No Deposit - No Return.”
Teaching an athlete how to snatch is difficult. Teaching an entire TEAM how to snatch seems impossible.
The truth is that you are over complicating it.
Take 30 minutes to work through this progression, it will change your athleticism.
"Once your commitment is greater than your feelings, that's when you get results. That's when it happens for you."
Show up when it’s boring, inconvenient, or uncomfortable, and those quiet deposits become the unstoppable momentum everyone later calls “overnight success.
Most lifters that come to me for coaching don’t need MORE accessory lifts to help them get stronger..
They need the RIGHT ones.
Here’s how to pick movements that build your squat, bench, and deadlift👇
If your hips feel imbalanced or shift off to one side during bilateral exercises like squats, you could have this common mobility problem.
Here’s what you need to know to fix it 👇
I don’t care what sport you play
You should be using the Single Arm DB Bench in your training….every week
After you build experience, add a band

Keeping your head on the forearm is a fantastic hack to ensure you’re not raising up to lift the weight
Many row variations out there, this is how I teach it
The band changes the strength curve, really good option if you haven’t tried it
Large team, later in-season?
Try this.
30 min. Max output. In & out, max output
5 stations. All 75-90 sec rest between sets
1. Trap bar iso pull x10 sec
2. Sprinter iso pull x10 sec
3. Bench pin iso x10 sec
4. Side lunge iso pull x10 sec
5. Chest supported iso row x10 sec
“You’ve got to be talented to play, yes… But at the end of the day, man, it’s coming down to the mental part of the game.”
– Brock Purdy
Talent opens the door.
Mindset keeps you in the room.
Resilience, adversity, leadership = the real separator.
