The story from the community indicated that the previous meeting resulted into the community having the first ever local council meeting that resulted into the upgrade of the community access road.

World Bank and local government ministry officials have voiced their dissatisfaction regarding the prolonged delay in the completion of road construction within Lira City under the USMID Project by M/S Al-Nuaimi Group & Abubakar Technical Services.
