@angryalbinoyeti@mazemoore My little neighborhood in Ohio was absolutely ablaze with fireworks that year... everyone set them off and everyone was out in the street watching.
@PunterNavarre@sarrah_bellus Even if he didn't make it to 20 years he still would have gotten an honorable discharge and be eligible for veteran benefits. He threw that away.
Throwing away 17 years of service & a pension to hold a sign on the steps of the Capitol, knowing you will be held accountable for your actions, isn't brave... it is asinine. He could have done the same thing out of uniform, without the consequences he will now face. What did his actions accomplish? I feel sorry for his wife & child who will suffer from this stunt.
@BuzzPatterson@RepAlGreen Anyone who takes direction from Al Green is stupid... and this airman acted stupidly.
And the airman will pay dearly for his actions, Al Green will not suffer any consequences. Sad.
@BuzzPatterson Such an ignorant move. Only he will suffer the consequences and whoever put him up to this will walk away.
If one is stupid enough to do this, one should not be in the military.
@Setauket31@bluelivesmtr So blind people with seeing eye dogs, and others with disabilities using service dogs should not ever be permitted to eat in restaurants? Really?
@sharkieUK@LoudOutside That is not how it works.
If you take 2 items to the register the computer will charge you for 2 items.
You have to bring 3 items to the register to get one free.
It isn't up to the cashier, the computer will determine the correct pricing.
@GrowingUpRetro My Aunt Lucy smoked Viceroys... sent me to the corner store to buy them for her from the time I was 7... gave me a Coke when I came back.
@KariLake@BLaw It will never cease to amaze me how "intelligent" people are willing to trade a little bit of media fame for their employment.
Glad to see that karma played out again.
