I will agree with cream of brocolli - but only if it’s full of cheese
Is ramen a soup? If so I pick Ramen.
Just so we're clear @osbcucscso doesn't have the power to shut down schools. Boards make that decision for safety. Now if these workers are so essential for safety that schools literally cannot function without them, maybe we pay them a living wage? #IStandWithCUPE
Here's a question: If their work is so important that you can't risk a potential strike of even a day; and you feel you have to invoke the notwithstanding clause - why are they being paid so little?
@Bhedin7 @darrenseville85 @GetRealNS@RichardCityNews@OntarioPolitix Even if it is annually, it’s putting them back up to fair compensation - there were many years where their increase was 0%, and never above 1.5%, well below inflation. In the last 10 years inflation is an estimated 50%. This union has seen less than 10% increase total.
@jbbradley772@RichardCityNews Again. Not the teachers union. They are a completely separate union. This is the support workers (ECEs, EAs, custodians, secretaries, etc).
