I strongly condemn the excessive use of force by the Delhi Police against students during the events of 21st & 22nd July.

Every allegation of police misconduct deserves a fair, transparent, and independent inquiry, and every student is entitled to legal protection and due process.

@DelhiPolice @narendramodi @AmitShah @LtGovDelhi this is a deliberate supervisory lapse on part of the SHO PS Malviya Nagar. The SHO turn a blind eye towards illegal commercial establishments and its operation by not have the requisite checks. Quid pro quo between owner and SHO

@attorneybharti 21 people died and more than 30 injured but no action against SHO Malviya Nagar who is the main cause of the illegal hotels and commercial establishments which have emerged in last 1 year. Monthly collections are made by the beat officers to turn blind eye.

@SwatiJaiHind @DelhiPolice this is supervisory and monitory lapse due to the SHO PS Malviya Nagar. A vigilance enquiry be initiated against the erring officials. Their affidavits of assets be called upon and enquired. Illegal hotels cannot emerge without nexus with local SHO.

This is an ultimate proof of corruption at the SHO level. By no stretch of imagination illegal construction and operations of illicit hotels can happen without nexus with local police and SHO.
