I’m happy that Doug is the head coach. He was my number on candidate. Although I think BL would have been great and has a ton of potential, he doesn’t have the head coaching experience that Doug has therefore making Doug a better option in my opinion. @md_1010xl

3. I think people over look the fact that change is a process and it takes time. Setbacks may happen during the implementation phase, but this does not mean that the vision or goal is not attainable.

@Cho213 As a leader I would first analyze what we are doing and how we are trying to accomplish it. As Dr. D said is there a problem with the system?Second I would look at how am I supporting those who are carrying out the task and find ways to serve them. #edle5330

I believe that the initiation phase is where most resistance comes from. Although change may be necessary, people prefer to stay in their comfort zone

@DoughneyJ Principals must intentionally schedule non-negotiable time for instructional leadership. If this doesn’t occur then principals will continue to allow situations that pop up to take precedence over instructional leadership.

@DoughneyJ @JanaeCapshaw The only way is if the second runner is running at a faster rate then the other runner. Thinking of map scores. I’ve had a student show two years grow in one year instruction. That’s 7th grade year. He didn’t pass the STAAR he grew. He received meets in his 8th grade STAAR
