If they can’t pay the loan back the government gets majority control of the company eventually. This is just communism via a new method. No sane founder will stay in California, and neither will very many job creators of any kind because the writing will be on the wall that they’re next.

An Alberta family is taking the provincial government to court after spending nearly $200,000 on surgery in the United States for their daughter, who had waited more than two years in Canada’s health-care system while her severe scoliosis worsened. The family says delays caused her to miss the window for a less invasive procedure in Canada.

They eventually paid for surgery in New Jersey, where the teen recovered and returned to activities including skiing and weightlifting.
