Most fan games don’t exist to prove a point, yes, but they do exist in reaction to the current gameplay trends of the series. They usually compare and contrast the present and the past, and pioneer an ‘alternate’ present inspired by the past.

it’s something that’s stuck with me ever since. there are trade offs made for survival, and the experience helped me empathize with trans people. if inverting your dick is truly going to stop you from killing yourself, do it.
