With the Clippers likely moving toward a rebuild/retool, there are two trade targets I really like:
Derrick Jones Jr. - $10m expiring, age 28, 36% from 3
Kris Dunn - $5m expiring, age 31, 37% from 3
Both excellent perimeter defenders
"I was told, Bear got an offer, you know, like five million bucks at a P4 school that he turned down. He's not making that at BYU, but he wanted to be at BYU and he returned."

There have been only 6 players in history who have thrown for at least 3,000 yards and run for at least 500 yards as a freshman.
Bear Bachmeier is the only player on this list who was a true freshman.

"What I discovered is it's extremely difficult even to cut very obvious waste and fraud from the government — because the government has to operate on who's complaining."
"If you cut off payments to fraudsters, they immediately come up with the most sympathetic sounding reasons to continue the payment. They don't say, 'Please keep the fraud going.' They’re like, 'You're killing baby pandas!'
"Meanwhile, there's no baby pandas who are dying. They're just making it up. The fraudsters are capable of coming up with extremely compelling, heart-wrenching stories that are false — but nonetheless sound sympathetic. That's what happened."

@Howard_Sprague@jackson5payne The defensive effort didnt look good at times before KY simplified the defensive game plan towards the end of the season.
If you want to criticize BYUs basketball program, you should start cheering for somebody other than the Utes. Its a pretty ridiculous look.
@Howard_Sprague@jackson5payne The Utes bought players too, except they bought the least cohesive team in the Big 12.
You obviously werent paying attention to how much AJ developed under KY. Or to how many injuries BYU sustained.
@Howard_Sprague@jackson5payne How do you justify commenting on basketball as a Ute fan? That is more NCAA tournament wins than Utah has in the last 10 years. Kevin Young has two seasons at BYU, one sweet sixteen, and an injury riddled second season in which we still made the tournament.
800 days ago, Kevin Young was hired as BYU’s new head coach.
Since then, he’s put three Cougars in the NBA draft: No. 1 AJ Dybantsa, No. 8 Egor Dëmin and No. 32 Richie Saunders.
Three BYU draft picks in the past two years matches the program’s total from 2004-24. PROvo is real.
@dryflyelk This is a controversial take, all of the foremost ROI experts are Utah and Utah St fans, and they unanimously agree that BYU got a poor ROI on this deal....
Richie Saunders on Kevin Young's pitch to him:
"His pitch to me was really twofold:
'I'm going to help you become a better closeout player. I'm going to help you become an elite closeout player. So anytime somebody's running at you, close out possession. And then two, I'm gonna help you become elite at coming off ball screens and reading the defense.'
And essentially like taking that and him explaining how he was going to do that coming from his background, it was really hard to pass up on.
I want to have a long career in the NBA. And he essentially helped create a great foundation to move into this next level."

BYU made its final pitch to four-star edge rusher Uhila Wolfgramm on his last official visit ahead of a college decision: ‘It’s not words, but seeing the brotherhood they’ve built’ https://t.co/zIdq7XJUqK
@CJRealHoops2 It would be a let down because it is highly unlikely that Boozer ends up being as good as AJ. Boozer projects to be really good, but he doesnt project to be the high scorer on a championship contender like AJ and Peterson do.
BREAKING: San Clemente (Calif.) ATH Jaxson Rex has committed to BYU and broke down why he chose the Cougars
"At BYU, they want to develop me as a person as well as a player and that's what I was looking for."
