1️⃣ Sidekick Control Rigs
Creators can now build and customize Sidekick animations directly in UEFN using Control Rigs based on the same rig structures Epic uses internally.

Important publishing details:
🔸 Islands featuring Sidekicks and the new creature assets can be published starting July 23
🔸 Creature games will have a dedicated Game Collection in Discover
🔸 Select the Creatures tag when publishing so your island is eligible
🔸 The tag applies to games using Sidekicks, Klombo, or original creatures
🔸 Creature games can also use in-island transactions, following Fortnite Developer Rules
2️⃣ LLM Conversations Publishing Opens July 30
Conversations will exit Experimental on July 30, allowing creators to publish islands with LLM-powered NPCs and characters.
v41.20 also adds consistent voices and personas for 36 Fortnite characters.
These characters will now speak and react more like their established personalities without creators needing to build everything from scratch.
3️⃣ In-World UMG Widgets
UMG User Widgets can now be placed directly inside your island.
Creators can:
🔹 Drag widgets from the Content Browser into the level
🔸 Add widgets to existing entity prefabs
🔹 Use existing UMG features, including Verse fields and UI animations
🔸 Apply logic to widgets inside the Prefab Editor
🔹 Position widgets in world space through Verse and prefabs
Widgets added through the Prefab Editor become entity subclasses using the format:
[WidgetName]_entity
4️⃣ Mobile Tools Moving Toward Release
The mobile touch controls, gestures, HUD, and platform control features added in v41.00 are planned to exit Experimental in v42.00.
Creators building mobile-friendly games should start testing now so their experiences are ready when the tools fully launch.

🔹 Touch controls can now rotate the Smoother camera
🔸 Player movement controls are hidden while UI Mode with Virtual Pointer is active
🔹 Mobile movement controls no longer override HUD buttons on the same side of the screen

🔹 Vehicle key bindings are hidden correctly when Virtual Pointer is enabled
