An eye in the sky helping our crews watch their backs in freeway work zones. Huge thanks to @wistatepatrol & @WisconsinDOT for their partnership in Eau Claire County this spring!
Mike Hahn has made a name for himself in construction, especially since he never intended to get into it in the first place.

Super cool (and, honestly, a little scary) riding along w/ State Patrol for this mission last week. Thanks to @WisDOTnorthwest for hosting us. Recap video coming soon.
State Patrol pulled over 21 drivers doing an average of 19 MPH over the posted speed limit in the I-94 work zone near Eau Claire late last week. Some were going 20-24 MPH over. Thanks to WSP for your partnership in helping keep our crews safe!
Lawmakers who sign up to meet with WTBA members don't just get talking points, they get experiences that will stick with them. Like our I-94 bridge tour w/ Rep. Zimmerman last week, walking a work zone nestled between freeway traffic on all sides.
"You hold the power to prevent these crashes."
Safe actions truly save lives.
Thanks to all of our members and our partners at @WisconsinDOT, @ATSSAHQ, @IUOELocal139, & @LightTheHoan for helping spread the word during the 2026 Work Zone Awareness Week.
Going from prelim designs only 30% developed to finishing several new interstate bridges, ramps, and improving pavement in less than a year? It's possible with Design-Build! Awesome seeing Hoffman Construction's Cranberry Interchange project this week. Thanks for the tour!
A bright and bold reminder: slow down, save lives.
The Hoan Bridge in Milwaukee glowed construction barrel-orange last night in honor of National Work Zone Awareness Week.
Special thanks to @LightTheHoan for helping us make this happen!
Bunts, a squeeze, a sac fly.
Finesse, teamwork and selflessness.
Yep, the @Brewers won yesterday the same way our members go about THEIR work, too.
Great day at the ballpark for our annual WTBA outing!

The John Nolen Dr. bridge project is tricky, especially keeping traffic flowing along the most important way into downtown Madison. Good news: WTBA members ZTI (@Walbecgroup) and Edgerton Contractors are keeping things on-schedule. Thanks, @WisconsinDOT for the update this week!
"It was perfect. It really was."
Couldn't agree more w/ our Past President Dan Zignego's assessment of our Annual Convention in Puerto Rico last month.
Check out the recap here!
"It is such a benefit for him to be here. Sec. Duffy is not only looking out for the admin’s priorities, but he is also sensitive to Wisconsin’s interests. It makes for a great and productive partnership." - Exec. Dir. Steve Baas.
Thanks @SecDuffy for the time in D.C. this week!
“Things happen to people. You can’t change what’s happened in the past. What you can do is take extreme ownership of your own life.”
Awesome message from @RobJonesJourney & @EchelonFront at our Convention last week. Check out followup pod here > https://t.co/U7oWgdiLY7
Four incredible days celebrating a fantastic 2025 and setting the stage for 2026 flew by in a HURRY! Thanks to outgoing prez Dan Zignego for a great Annual Convention in Puerto Rico. Here's to the year to come!
Fantastic group at our first-ever WTBA PAC ice fishing excursion. (There WAS ice under all that slush, we promise!) Thankful for the comfortable temps, strong camaraderie, and support for our crucial legislative efforts toward building a strong, reliable transportation system
I remember finding out why that arrow meant and being in awe. So simple and yet it touches the billions of people who drive vehicles. Glad he’s getting some recognition, albeit posthumously.
