@kuzushi The way I see it is that pentesting should be validating that controls are properly implemented. It can also provide a little extra weight to known issues if a third party is able to exploit an already identified but not remediated vuln.

@ImposeCost When I started my career, cybersecurity was simply one component of an all-hazards threat approach, which includes environmental hazards, terrorism and crime. And these are all the things that executives have to weigh out. Cyber security isn't always the top concern
