So here’s the thing that keeps bugging me. The whole time they’re in the diner, Hal’s right hand is pretty much never in clear view. They keep framing it so you can’t really see it, then it cuts into a bunch of tight close-ups.

When John throws that punch, Hal fully turns away to the right and basically tucks the hand out of sight the second the camera pulls back. There’s only one quick angle where you can actually get a decent look, and yeah he’s definitely wearing a ring on that hand.

It’s not the Green Lantern ring (Guy ends up with that later), but I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what John was checking for when he looked at the body later.

Just watched Lanterns episode 6 and honestly Im just kinda baffled by this show.

Its well written and acted for what it is, but it also feels like it kinda hates what its adapting. Theyre actively making sure that most Green Lantern comics just wont be done in the DCU.
