I had totally underestimated the cost of tool coordination/juggling

Even when performing a specific task BUT having to be toggling through a bunch of tools is incredibly slow and almost demotivating

We’ve been wired to operate like that for so long that it really takes a minute to process that now everything’s possible from a terminal window (and much more)

Miami is great in a lot of ways. I’ve been here full time for 5+ years, after living in SF from 2017–2020 and working in tech.

I’m fully ready to spend way more time in SF than Miami.
Miami has a lot going for it, but I’m building a tech company, and SF is easily 100x the opportunity in network, talent, and pace.

My parents moved to Miami in 2009 and most of my friends/family are here, but Miami just isn’t fulfilling if you’re extremely ambitious in tech.
