@mattderron Same feeling - I stopped using Claude in the last 3 months because of the constant doomerism and because Dario thinks he knows better than me how to to use AI. Unfortunately, looks like Sam and Elon are moving into this direction as well

It's about time for Open AI to launch ads. It's obvious AI is incredibly useful for everybody, but subscription defer a lot of people from heavy usage. Ads are gonna allow exponentially more usage.
Also, Open AI now has a long tail of businesses - same advantage as $META has.

@StockMKTNewz Finally - this is good development. I don't have enough demand for personal use cases to pay, vut when I need I always either hit limits or it works as shit. If they can recoup my compute costs with ads - I'm all for it

@amitisinvesting Seems strange that despite electricity demand obviously increasing, both gev and bloom are fully booked, $VST and $GEv have only 3-5 GW booked from hyperscalers (<10% annual capacity) and last contracts signed in beginning of 2026. Looks like data centers prefer to power off-grid

@neetcode1 Same thing - even worse at my job, we have proper computer use banned and it tries to use the internal codex browser, in which I can't even pass Okta. Just use cli.
