Patreon Tip #5: Consider your goal! Would a different platform make more sense?

Patreon is great for ongoing creative endeavors (podcasts, Youtube channels)! Projects with a concrete beginning and end may be a better fit for Kickstarter or another "one-time" campaign platform.

A steady income for your art, a community of your true fans, a place to create... what could go wrong?

Don't worry! It is totally normal for a #Patreon account to experience a burst of backers at the beginning and then go a bit stagnant. 😌
