No matter how badly you need an internet provider, don't choose @tizeti . Learn from my mistake. They'll frustrate you so much you'll end up online venting, just like me. Their usual line is, "Sorry for the inconvenience, I've escalated it," followed by complete silence. #nigeria
@tizeti You guys enjoy playing games with your customers.
•You took my money.
•You scheduled the relocation multiple times.
•You failed to show up without any valid explanation.
•You have continued delaying without providing the service.
•You have refused to refund my N78,000.
@tizeti Please, why did you collect my 78,000 and still refuse to relocate my internet service? I made the payment on the 19th of June, and the relocation has not been done.
@soetan_ayomide@EkwutosiUneke@TrendingEx For her to refer to a verb phrase such as “arguing blindly” as foul language makes me wonder if she even understands what “talents with global standards” means.
Does having a civil conversation mean arguing back and forth? A CEO claimed there are no Nigerian talents with global standards, yet I was hired by a foreign company for exactly those standards and even promoted within a month.
You’re in my thread arguing without direction. Please, I’m working. Bye again 🫠
Moniepoint CEO is looking for the typical employees he will pay peanuts but take their soul. Nigerians have so many bright people but will you pay them what is acceptable globally?
The biggest issue is his point is he didn’t say what his requirements were. If he is so sure let him genuinely say what he offered. You would will be shocked that it might not have anything Globally acceptable. Can he actually afford to pay people weekly, per hour; pay them wholesome benefits; provide medical insurance; travel allowances etc because that’s global standard. I fit turn Q if he can
@EkwutosiUneke@TrendingEx Madam you are missing the point. He said we don't have Nigerians with global standards. But we do and I am an example. Or you just like to argue blindly. Girl bye
@EkwutosiUneke@TrendingEx At some point, we have to stop blaming the Nigerian student and start asking if our CEOs and HR teams are actually competent enough to recognize the 'global standards' they claim to be looking for.
Now, we aren't talking about the general graduate pool; we are talking about the top tier talent that Tosin claims doesn't exist.
Ekutosi, If I and many others like me apply to local firms, get rejected, and then immediately get snatched up by global companies with much higher vetting standards, the 'education' excuse falls apart.
@EkwutosiUneke@TrendingEx Ekutosi, citing the '80% unemployable' statistic is a pivot, not a counter-argument plus that's a lie, just like Tosin's claim because the 80% you mentioned are self employed.
@Ola_Dilu@TrendingEx He said there are 500 open roles and they could not find Nigerian talent with global standards. Why then was I hired by a foreign company looking for global standards if I don’t fit? I was even promoted just one month after joining.
@EkwutosiUneke@TrendingEx He said we don’t have talents with global standards, and I met global standards in another foreign company that was hiring for the same reason.
@TrendingEx Nigerians can get into Google, Apple, Microsoft and some of the leading tech companies but Moniepoint is where we draw the line. Fvck outta here, they’re probably looking for cheap labour that’s why they’ve not been able to fill up their vacant roles.
