@grok@TheBlueWave2026@AnthropicAI@grok did you know that they optimized this before the release? Dangerous dual systems I hear. What about you (another System) then?
@Mikek196@legitbrittFLA Fight your wars without gun allies but with people, awareness and politics. They cannot kill everyone, eventually they will fail.
Genocide threat here is the pure evil!. If Iran wants a regime change its people will do it through whatever they have; through democracy or protests like they did in LK, Bangladesh and other nations. Bombing isn't that. Iran is also wrong here attacking neighboring cities but you stated it. Iranians have children everywhere, not where you want!
Children died even before during this clash and bombing. They died in Gaza too, and just now you see them, well that is positive. If you see children and humans die for no reason, it is time to fast track toward negotiations. Hatred and violence were never a solution. We call it "Nahi Verena Verani" (Animosity cannot cure Animosity) in Buddhism. 🙏
To anyone who thinks this is a smart move and is a metaphor, this is wrong! This is calling everybody to join back the Iranian regime. A threat to genocide isn't taken the way some of you think in other countries. I would not if someone makes such threats to the US anyone will tolerate it as a metaphor. This is madness.
@RukshanJ259922@YRanaraja This guy won't reveal the truth given his emoji replies, so I have posted a comment with the actual reality, and your statement is true.
It is obvious during a war, and especially after a war. But you are forgetting that the World Bank and ADB warned us for decades about our economic issues. What you are hiding is the following.
By the numbers, the economy grew by roughly 167% in just six years. However, this was "nominal" growth. A significant portion of this increase was driven by a stable (and sometimes artificially propped up) exchange rate and massive foreign-debt-funded infrastructure spending, rather than a genuine increase in the country's productive capacity or exports.
1. In GDP calculations, government spending includes military spending (debts)
2. After the war ended in 2009, there was a massive surge in construction. The government borrowed heavily to build highways, ports (debts) - they spent massive amounts with higher waste - one of the iconic in contrast to the world
3. Rebuilding the North and East created a temporary "boom" in the construction sector
Sri Lanka moved from "Concessional Loans" (low interest from the World Bank/ADB) to "Commercial Loans" (high interest from international markets). By 2011, the debt was becoming "harder" and more expensive to service.
The country was spending more than it earned (Budget Deficit) and importing more than it exported (Trade Deficit)
As the economy "grew," tax collection actually decreased as a percentage of GDP.
This is the truth which Rajapaksha fans never tak (or understand).
@Globalstats11 Just curious if you are selecting the most expensive city to calculate this index. I feel like this is the case as Sri Lanka also hits the top. But cost and purchasing power are indeed pretty bad at this point.
@anulagarwal Sorry to see your experience. This restaurant is an Indian venture, so it is obvious they charge higher rates. LK is in huge economic trouble, taxes are high, life isn't as easy as before, mate. However, there are many cheap and quality merchants available :)

These approximate subgroups from the same data set reinforce that higher education correlates with more Dem. support. Their own preferences or did someone force them? Time for DEI?
@chamath The data seems to correlate. The interesting part here is what faculties, and whether there is a specific set of interests among republicans as some of them lean more toward clusters other than science. I think more data is required to go deeper into a conclusion.
