@PatrickAlphaC Unless you make sure individual commits build and test fine then flows like git bisect can end up unusable. CI typically only verifies final result. Squash with nice history in PR gets my vote.

@_munter_ Make calculations in your head. E.g., add two random numbers, and then add the result to a similar sized random number. Keep going. Thoughts will stray, but come back to the calculations as soon as you notice. Got the tip from Reddit. Works for me.
