Hey @GarethThomasMP I’m lending you my vote with @MVTFWD to #GTTO, but my top issue is Global Justice. Is this a priority for you?
Please fix politics so I won’t have to vote tactically next time.

Help Titi’s children lay her to rest in peace and have her in close proximity so that we can visit her with their future children. https://t.co/NGcCCTWZE4
Hey Twitter! I've just donated to the DEC Pakistan Floods Appeal to help provide aid to people in need of urgent help to survive. Can you help? https://t.co/SoEsYR2qle
I am loving these young people at the Olympics, agreeing to share medals, cheering on their competition, knitting, pulling out if the time isn't right for them emotionally. They seem so sane? Look where an attitude of winning at all costs has got us. Time for change.
Internalize the behavior being described, and watch out for it. Then, instead of "not all men" or the like, be the person who holds OTHERS accountable for their behavior. Don't counter the woman's experience with how shocked you are. Just thank them for sharing and grow from it.
Yes! And we need to hear about testing - from testers. Finally, someone as respected as @tastapod in the programmer community says what highly respectable voices like @michaelbolton and @jamesmarcusbach in the testing community have been saying for years. About time!
1) Yet another thing claiming that "testing a product manually doesn’t scale". That's exactly like saying "programming a product manually doesn’t scale", "editing a book manually doesn’t scale", or "teaching manually doesn’t scale". Let’s unpack that claim.
@DanAshby04 I do wish I would see more qualifications on that language:
Automate *repetitive* pass/fail testing.
There are other kinds of testing to consider: a script can tell that your code performed a specific function, but can't tell that using your program sucks.
Boris Johnson told his Cabinet today that the racism suffered by England football players had "emerged from the dark spaces of the internet."
Here's just a few of those dark spaces.

@alanpage Yes, and testing is how you evaluate quality. Without testing, you can't tell whether or to what extent your product provides value to some person who matters, aka quality.
