By 2010, Sacred Heart Academy in Grand Rapids was over 100 years old and almost dead, with fewer than 50 students. The school had drifted from its mission. Then Fr. Sirico led a bold renewal - classical curriculum and Daily Mass. Today, enrollment is over 400.

For 9+ years, I’ve worked with college students. The past few years, I have noticed more of an emphasis on and attraction to the liturgy. We even have students who drive more than hour each way for Sunday TLM Mass.

@ravenousreader I go to a diocesan TLM parish that also offers the novus ordo and it’s the healthiest culture I’ve seen in a trad parish. Much different vibes from the FSSP and ICKSP parishes I’ve been to

I think the best way to unify the church is to have both the TLM and the Novus Ordo at every parish. “Ghettoizing” the TLM has created a sort of Gnosticism around attending the TLM. In reality, every Catholic should feel comfortable attending either Mass even if they have a clear preference.
