@malleegirl57 Two of my great-uncles are buried in cemeteries along the Thai-Burma railway. Captured during the Singapore/Java battles in 1942 and died of illness along the railway.
@_demonika@Angry_Staffer Crazy fact #1: When they tried to bring in fluoride to Grafton in the 60s, someone blew up the water treatment plant. It's a wild story https://t.co/VjO5UfaRri
(Not so) crazy fact #2: Byron Bay doesn't have fluoride and it has the highest rate of teeth problems in the country
@Angry_Staffer I feel like this is one of those things which would disproportionately affect poor people. I mean, those better off will be able to afford to look after their teeth regardless, whereas (almost) everyone can drink fluoridated tap water.
@AlecStapp Someone should overlay that with the actual economic metrics: inflation, unemployment etc. Suspect that people's opinions just depend on whether they agree with who's in charge, not the facts on the ground.
@malleegirl57 They were very quick to stop me from walking from the supermarket to my car with one of the smaller wheeled baskets instead of a trolley so I could push a pram as well. Wouldn't want one of those baskets to get stolen.
