@wh_dunbar @GeneMundy65@SenatorLocke@AWGNorfolk@ReevesVA@pwcdanica@BillDeSteph@MarkSicklesVA@NewCraigforVA And for years to come I hope it includes post baccalaureate programs. If this program is to allow spouses of those who are considered permanently disabled to continue school, then they need to be able to support a family off those degrees, which means more then a bachelors.
@TedRoberts96 @funandpolitics @SenLouiseLucas I said months ago that I believed this was all a result of a money grab by the universities that went awry. Seems that was true. Are they all going to decrease tuition since they have money coming? Nope.
@8NEWS We got into the mess because they didn’t follow normal legislative procedure. Senate democrats trying to shove things through once again ignoring normal procedures isn’t acceptable.
This is hysterical. Not the governor, not senate republics nor the entire house of delegates support their position and yet they don’t see that they are the problem. @VaHouse@VASenate@GovernorVA
@ObenshainChris Thank you. We are tired. As I sure you are as well. I just want the government to do the right thing. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.
The Elizabeth Dole Foundation has partnered with 30 other organizations representing veterans, caregivers, survivors, and their families to express our concern about the potential national precedent that recent changes to education benefits in Virginia might set if enacted.
Democrats advocate for full student loan forgiveness and free college tuition for ALL students—but @VASenateDems convene today to gut VMSDEP (Virginia Military Survivors and Dependents Education Program). Tell Democrats HANDS OFF our military heroes! https://t.co/7L6w7Kub8D
@thebull1856 @bluevirginia You don’t legislate through the budget. It was rushed and snuck in and now it’s a mess that they all caused so they all need to come together and fix it.
I speak up and share for the families in VA who don’t even know this is going on, for the ones who are struggling and can’t speak up, for the families who are working and can’t take a day off. @VASenate@WinsomeSears@GovernorVA
Veterans. Hear the words of Army veteran Brian Smith and follow the link to tell @GovernorVA and @SenLouiseLucas that veterans are not political pawns for partisan point-gathering. Repeal the cuts to tuition for families of dead and disabled veterans.

@SenLouiseLucas A women of intelligence, who’s served her constituents and state as long as you have, I refuse to believe this is how you want to be known, as the women who stood in the way of a bipartisan effort to rectify a bipartisan problem.#repealornodeal@GovernorVA@vmsdepfriends
