@droppedyourhnd@SavLovesSwift When you're used to wearing it the feeling of not having it on makes you panic (which is generally a good thing—you want to build an "oh no where is it??"response, but not ideal for vacation)
@lisakwildman @Romy_Holland@Insect_Song I was so excited that my hospital brought it in just before I was due last year, and it ended up doing nothing other than making me nauseated
@stuartsaysstop@maxwelltani Definitely on the rock stations in Canada by 2007; there were not-particularly-hip guys repeatedly playing the Sun Goes Down guitar cords during lunchtime in high school
@wildstar33@cmclymer Yea unfortunately, the % of jobs only requiring a hs diploma have dropped like crazy, which is an issue across the board given the cost of college https://t.co/Kv0qwzeDjS.
@ahmadatum@BenjaminHouy Tbf, I got a blunt yes once: I was asking a flight attendant if I could put my bag in the bin (Only to realize " Could you please move out of the way so that I may do so?" needed to be asked as well 😅)

@ar1_zzzzzz@unicornsftw@thatqueerkiwi I managed a website that posted articles about sex as well as erotic fiction—our analytics showed that men absolutely read porn.
@queefneyspearz@theashleyray Gotcha! Yea I guess if they knew exactly how many siblings your parents have they might ask,but if you say "oh I grew up calling my mum's bestie from college 'aunt'" that wouldn't need further clarification
@queefneyspearz@theashleyray Also from BC/studied in ON but I guess in adulthood I would maybe clarify it when used, like "oh my mom and I are going to a play with fake aunt Susan on Friday".
