@MaryLim68292929@harrysoulcoach No, he didn’t. He’s hinting it’s not James Blunt but rather it might or might not be Robbie William on that video. On this video, he seems to be more clear.
@lightcatcherpix@ksorbs Government doesn’t generate revenue on its own by producing something of value that people want. Clearly, this is theft of tax funds collected from the taxpayers to fund campaigns.
@Hockey582004@ksorbs It should be but they probably wrote it into the laws to allow residents’ tax funds collected from various sources to be laundered to accounts designated for campaigns.
@ksorbs She’s basically using taxpayer money to pay for campaigns of Democrats. Recall that city government doesn’t actually generate revenue but rather gets its revenue from tax collection. It’s a creative way to launder residents’ tax funds.
@Donaco777@SteveSolomon_18@ZavalaA Gas-powered or EV, it doesn’t matter. No car owners are immune from the govt dictate / money grab no matter what option people choose. Every time you buy or do something, the state gets a cut.
@SteveSolomon_18@ZavalaA They’re trying to get revenues from EV owners/discourage people from driving more. For Tesla owners, the state is losing out on gas tax revenues. To cover 4 shortfall, it came up w/ high dmv renewal fees. The new tire law will affect all. Imagine paying $500-$1000 per tire.
@NSawnson@ZavalaA EVs are heavier than gas-powered cars. From what I’ve come to know, new tires for EV owners can cost as much as $1000 per tire so if you do all four tires, you’re looking to spend roughly $4K. This is on top of paying high DMV registration renewal fees for EVs.
@SteveSolomon_18@ZavalaA New tire replacement could cost 2 times as much per tire. People or a family on a budget will be hurt the most. CA govt is dictating what folks can or can’t buy. It’s harder for mom&pop tire shops to compete w/ larger tire companies when procuring state-approved tires in bulk.
@TheChiefNerd The more young people can’t afford costs of living and home purchase, the more they will desire socialism without knowing they are getting played and will be later controlled.
@XavierBecerra The electric company will increase the rate for the other 22 hours of usage to make up for losses from the free 2 hours. People must be dumb to fall for this gimmick.
