Choosing a research topic becomes much easier when you stop asking “What should I study?” and start asking better questions.

Use the 5Ws and 1H:

• What is the problem?
• Why does it matter?
• How can it be studied?
• Where does it have the greatest impact?
• Who is affected?
• When is action needed?
