Government Of The United Kingdom: ***** FREE CAROL NG - ACTIVIST DETAINED IN HONG KONG ***** - Sign the Petition! https://t.co/4lILoDKLDT via @UKChange
Lesson of the day: we are a united industry. United in lobbying Govts across the four nations. Tomorrow we all #speakupfortravel united with pilots, crew, travel agents, airlines, airports, cruise, tour operators - all fighting for our people, jobs and businesses #inthistogether
.@BorisJohnson@grantshapps In normal times the outbound travel sector generates £bns of spending in the UK and employs 100s of thousands of people but has been the hardest hit by the pandemic. #speakupfortravel as jobs, businesses and livelihoods are at risk. #traveldayofaction
Today BASSA is taking part in #traveldayofaction. We are joining other unions, employees and businesses to lobby the UK Government to #standupfortravel. Safely reopen International travel and extend furlough. Get involved in the Twitterstorm at 2pm @unitetheunion@The_TUC
Among the 53 Hong Kong activists arrested in Jan under the new National Security Law is the fiery, deeply impressive Carol Ng, former BA cabin crew member & chair of the HK Confed of Trade Unions. In any other society she’d be an honoured figure.
The Government is failing our children re: #HammersmithBridge@transportgovuk must step in and frontload the cost of the Bridge's permanent repairs. The sums of money involved are simply too high for anything other than central funding.
✊🏿💚🤍 In solidarity with our brave colleague, former BA Cabin Crew Carol Ng, one of the 52 detained at the Lo Wu Correctional Institute, always fighting for justice
🙏🏿 Please share and support to free my friend Carol

Every BA crew member should be concerned at Carol Ng’s imprisonment in HKG. Not only is she the bravest person I have ever met but she supported us (BASSA) wholeheartedly during our battle with BA in 2010. Now is the time to reciprocate that support. We must perpetuate her name.
.@Nus_Ghani please help us send a clear message to Mr Cruz at the Transport Select Committee meeting on Wednesday, by signing the pledge https://t.co/aqN6CBa0J2…
