Can we please stop saying “data-driven”? We should be student driven. We should be future driven. We can be data-informed, but our students should always drive our decision making.

As important as “data” is, we cannot lose the child beneath the spreadsheet. We must stop talking numbers and start talking bout what we know about kids from the heart. No spreadsheet will EVER tell you who they are as learners! #DailyCAFE#G2Great
What if we spent as much time building relationships with our students as we do teaching them routines and structures? Great tips from @edutopia https://t.co/8CH7aFcgqB
@PaulSalah "If you ran a dishwasher & 2-3 plates came back dirty you'd pull them out & give each dish individual care. If 55% of the dishes came back dirty you'd address the dishwasher. Why not the same for our Ed. system & children? We have to improve the quality of tier 1" @nellkduke
If when leaving school today, you're tired, be encouraged! You did the most important work in the world! Today you were a Smile, Forgiveness, & Care that made many children feel Safe & Loved! Tonight, rest up! You need it! #edchat
