@realDonaldTrump@marklevinshow But no president has ever treated our country like this. because of the way you run this country is the reason people are treating you this way. This is the consequence of your own actions. #swo332
@kerinbechtel I agree with this. A lot of the time citizens of the US are too quick to jump to conclusions and think that immigrants are only here to hurt us. That is not the case they are here to grow for themselves & to help our country
@darajoithomas I agree with you. Teachers are not given enough credit for what they do for the younger generations and how much time and commitment they put into helping all these students
@DestinyERiley @ProfDente I agree 100% Although it would b hard it is something that could b done.Keeping an open mindset is everything&I feel like if we could somehow enforce an open mind to people who practice Christianity,it would help improve home life 4 those effected by the struggle of this #swo332
Something needs to be done in these 41 states in America that make it legal to fire someone from their job if they belong to the LGBTQ community. Not only can these people be fired but they are more likely to be sexually harassed at work and homeless. #swo332
@DestinyERiley @leonhannah_ Im sorry to hear that someone u are close to had to go through such a horrible, unfair experience like that. Her sexuality should not make her be any less than anyone else. Equality is something that needs to be more spread, so situations like this do not keep happening #swo332
@ProfDente For example: the social work club and sororities and fraternities. I could let my peers know about this issue and then come up with some kind of plan to help raise money to the homeless who lost their job because they are from the LGBTQ community #swo332
@ProfDente The very first thing I think should be done is spreading awareness about this problem. But something else has to be done after that as well. Us as students can work hard by trying advocate these problems and maybe fundraise money within clubs that we are involved in at school
@kerinbechtel You’re right and that is just in New York alone. I feel like half the problem is people aren’t aware of these issues and aware that these homeless people do belong to the LGBTQ community. Us as a community should work towards spreading awareness and advocacy #swo332
Everyone will say that we need more gun control and potray ideas of what they will do for change. But there is still no change. How many more mass shootings will it take for there to be action behind these changes. #swo332
Since I do not have cable at my apartment I had to watch video clips on YouTube for the debate. The clip that I loved and support immensely is when Beta O’Rourke stated that he would confiscate all weapons that are suppose to be used on battle fields
Today so many people have weapons that are deadly and designed to be used on the battle field not to kill children, students, adults. ANYONE. Gun control in our country is such an issue and such a high cause of so many deaths. There needs to be change. This needs to happen.
I agree with @JoeBiden saying that people who committed non violent crimes shouldn’t be in jail. Especially today with how high incarceration rates are. Putting people in jail for drug use/racial discrimination will just start another War on Drugs in my opinion.
I am curious to see how this would play out in the future years and to see how much of a better place our world become. Incarceration rates are too high. 1 in 4 people go in jail, mostly for nonviolent crimes. That’s not okay!!!!!
@TSU_Deltas As someone who associates with Greek life as well, I love this!!! I love how you are advocating and helping spread awareness on your campus. So many people in college are not well educated on world wide problems but because of what you guys are doing it’s helping and making a
