@benjamincowen I think until you’ve actually “felt” the pain of being in a cycle in the red or under performing vs BTC, maybe similar to what you experienced with Cardano way back when, your emotions play tricks on your ability to make logical decisions until the next cycle and round tripping.
@NewsAsset@War_Radar2 But it’s ok for Israel to commit genocide Rob?
Despite that, the UK has helped protect Israel and plays a supportive role in the Middle East. My dad (British) works on the shared Qatari airbase.
@NewsAsset@JParhamJr Cyprus became independent from the UK in 1960, as part of that the two military bases remained as UK territory. As Greenland isn’t already part of and becoming independent from the US, it’s very different.
@NewsAsset “Dan” you need to stop watching Fox & letting the algorithm get you! The US once had 10,000 troops and 50 bases in Greenland, there was zero sovereignty then & now there’s 1 base by choice & that’s still not US territory. Fanta man has pissed too many off this time. Not happening
@NewsAsset The Royal Navy helped with the Venezuelan oil tankers seizures, led some Houthi strikes, my Dad works on the airbase in Qatar targeted by Iran, with the UK supporting the protection of Israel, not to mention the support in Iraq and this is the respect Trump has for the UK. Vile.
@Clainy6 I don’t have any party allegiance, however you might want to calculate the impact of freezing tax thresholds vs a piss poor £150 energy bill reduction. The fiscal drag from frozen thresholds is probably going to cost most working households much more overall.
@OliverRyanUK Evidently you don’t understand simple supply vs demand economics.
An honest narrative would be; the tories shafted the country, stole money off working people, gave it to the richest people & printed a load of debt. We need to stagnate to get rates down to refinance said debt.
@LeoSimpson@robprogressive Or do what we did after WW2 when debt to GDP was 2-3x higher - take it from the rich rather than continuing to transfer wealth to them. The past 16 years, since the 2009 GFC have been a complete transfer of wealth from working class to the richest. But nobody has the balls.
@UKLabour Ah yes, the ‘cost of living cut’ where households lose £1,200–£1,400 a year from your tax-threshold freeze but gain £150 on energy. Truly revolutionary maths.
QT ends tomorrow.
The TGA is slowly being drained.
Rate cut probabilities for are now at 86%.
Changes to the SLR ratio coming next year.
2026 could surprise to the upside - don't fade it.
@wkuviolet@AlternativeMUFC Dalot is a liability, 9 games out of 10 he doesn’t track back, makes a mistake and acts like he can’t be bothered. He’s one of the toxic lot that are left. He shouldn’t be near that dressing room.
Ok, let's take stock of what happened the past 24 hours:
- Aster overtook Circle in daily revenue
- Tether raising at half a trillion
- SEC to renew Trump's crypto 401k push
- Brian Armstrong calling for $1m BTC
- FTT pumping off a SBF "gm" tweet
And it's only Wednesday.
