HAPPY NEW WEEK
Pray for divine restoration of lost opportunities
Scripture: Joel 2:25–26; Romans 8:28
Father, wherever I have experienced loss, delay, or missed opportunities, restore what has been stolen. Cause all things to work together for my good and redeem every season of my life.
INSTEAD OF WATCHING AN HOUR OF NETFLIX TONIGHT.
This 1 hour Stanford lecture by Joel Peterson will teach you more about negotiation and getting what you want than most people learn in years.
Bookmark it and give it an hour, no matter what.
You cannot:
Work full time, raise children, keep a spotless home, show up fully in your marriage, maintain friendships, stay fit, build wealth, read books, pursue hobbies, serve only home cooked meals, answer every email, and still make the 3:30 school pickup.
That standard was created to keep you exhausted and blaming yourself. Let it go.
Yazii we take for granted the privilege of having supportive parents, I’m thinking about how my mom will always tell me to come back home when it gets overwhelming 🥺
it is an unwritten rule of life that after every prolonged period of hardship and uncertainty, there is going to be a period when you are going to achieve quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life. the only requirement is that you do not give up on yourself
I am so happy right now. I have been happy for a while now. The reason I am in extra disbelief & so amazed is because there was a time in my life that I was so certain that I would never be happy again 🥹 Yoh guys, God really restores 🥹❤️
You admire people. Let them know. You draw inspiration from people. Let them know. You find people attractive or charming or witty or engaging. Let them know. You see someone dressed nicely on the streets or you witness them displaying kindness, stop and make them aware that you appreciate their kindness and humility. You come across children who are polite and well mannered. Pay them some respect by letting them know. Expressing adoration and appreciation for others does not diminish who you are.
If this ever happens, go to a pharmacy and get CLIPA Fluconazole 200 mg tablets, because ointments alone won’t completely solve the problem they may return. You need the pills to treat the infection from the inside.
For children, you can dissolve the pill in water using a 10 ml syringe, then give 5 ml and discard the rest. 👍🏾
4 cups flour
2 cups warm water
2 teaspoons salt
2 Tablespoons sugar
Packet of yeast
Mix and knead. Make sure dough is wet so you may have to add more water to get that effect.
Let it rise for 40 min. Knead it again. Then transfer to the greased tin you will be baking it in. Let it rest and rise again in an airtight place or warm place( I usually just put it in the oven with the light on). Then 180 degrees oven for an hour.
Enjoy ☺️🥰
JUST WONDERING HOW MOMS are supposed to work 9-5, drop the kids off at school at 8 AM, pick them up by 3 PM, stay on top of school activities, meal prep, cook dinner, keep the house clean, do the laundry, run the kids to extracurricular activities, climb the corporate ladder, save sick days for when the kids are sick, be a good friend, daughter, and partner, all while trying to take care of their own body and mental health…

Subject: Eager Candidate for the [Job Title] Position
Dear [Name].
I recently applied to the [Job Title] position in your department. I wanted to reach out personally and let you know how excited I am about this opportunity.
I submitted my application on [date submitted), and I haven't been contacted about next steps. I understand that you're very busy and you still may be in the selection process but I also know that the applicant pool for a great organization like yours would be very competitive so it's possible you have gone ahead with other candidates.
I would love to know if I am still in consideration and if not, I would appreciate any feedback you'd be willing to give on my resume or experience so I can continue to improve for future opportunities.
Thanks so much!
