Just 5 years ago, everyone (myself included) would have agreed that machines lack the ability to recognise context, and humans will forever hold that trump card.

Noticed this a month ago. Musk has pivoted Grok to selling compute and yielded the field as it is a significant legal risk given the target board painted on his back by media. I won't be surprised if he has also stepped down frontier research to improve xAI's financial positron since research is the most costly line item by far vs regular inference opex.

@nicole_clash Chinese administrators are also Singaporean trained. If you look back a bit into history, thousands of them came over to Singapore to train after LKY and Deng Xiaoping had a buddy moment. They brought the same skills that created Singapore back to China.
