@DHughesy Maintain the rage; governemnts need to be brought to account along with the public servants who are complicit in the corruption and wastage of community money
@hughriminton Legacy media have sunk so low, particularly post Covid, devoid of any backbone to challenge any aspect of government waste, mismanagement and even corruption
@byzbateson Kardinia Park bulldozed, all home games to be played at South Fremantle, limit on field players to 17 for next 10 seasons and all players must wear motorcycle helmets
@_red_wood@DamienSimic@AFL@CollingwoodFC@GeelongCats Players are contracted to play football, if they cant/dont/won't play, and are not paid, there is no sensible argument for the club to be penalised financially in a future period
@pauldc80@drewie_5 The rule is the player must stand when within the 5m protected area, he can't drift or back out of the area, he must stand. That's the rule, it was interpreted strictly
@Mildchild950208@7AFL Yes if within 5m of the player who marks. That player in the 5m protected area must stand. He cannot blackout or retreat from where he was when the ball was marked. Sometimes umps allow a step or 2 towards the mark without penalty
@Colvick Agree, they didn't add anything to the show. Another new couple, country and western duo Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley were really disappointing on the Tanzania episode. They come across as people who prefer to stay at home rather than travel.
@7AFL Completely different roles, AFLW coaches are required to incorporate a much larger skills role where that aspect in the men's game is undertaken by the well funded assistants
@3AWNeilMitchell In 2025 the Vic Labor Government paid $420m to "cancel" the previous goverment's East-West link project. Makes you wonder if the unions weren't happy with the East West "contracts" as the right players didn't "get to eat"
