The current situation is honestly so frustrating. This is BIGBANG’s first comeback as three members, during their 20th anniversary, and yet this is how the fans are being treated?

Are we asking for an entire year of celebrations? Are we demanding something impossible? All we are asking for is a properly planned timeline, decent promotion, and basic respect for the fans who have continued to support them.

I have always known that Jiyong takes on a huge amount of responsibility for everything related to BIGBANG, but that is also partly because of how incompetent the company has repeatedly proven itself to be. With a capable creative and management team, he should only need to provide direction and final input. Instead, year after year, the members have to step in and fill gaps that should already be handled by professional creative directors, designers, artist managers, and promotional teams.

Just look at the subpar Coachella promotion, the senseless recycling of old footage for the 20th-anniversary clips that were eventually deleted, and the mediocre promotion for concerts across different countries. How can a company celebrating its own 30th anniversary still operate with this level of planning and work ethic? At this point, do they even deserve to be celebrating it?

Even after saying all this, I know nothing will change. If criticism alone worked, things would have improved years ago. That is what makes it even more exhausting—we are not frustrated because of one isolated mistake. We are frustrated because we have watched the same problems repeat themselves year after year.
