True story. My PhD looked at how mindfulness impacts the brain. We did fMRI & VBM. Found sig group x time effects on amygdala volume. Showed it to @_JohnAshburner who immediately recognized it as a vascular artifact. Although I'd written it up, ready to submit, I binned it.
