🚨National Security Threat:
Tangkhul Separatists Seek US and Trump's backing, in Seditious Plot to Carve Out Independent Nation by August 14, 2026.

■In a blatant act of subversion, Dr. Nelson Vashum, brother of Atem Vashum, SS "Deputy Prime Minister" & former Army Chief of NSCN-IM aggressively advanced the separatist agenda of his brother by launching an open assault on India's sovereignty & territorial integrity.

■Dr. Vashum, a Separatist by heart but privileged by India, laid out a seditious roadmap to slice away the territory of India to establish an independent "Naga State" while revealing plots to hoist the Independent Naga flag on August 14, 2026, across the border in Myanmar.

■​Seeking to globalize the conflict, Vashum plans to reach out to the West, proposing that a United States Cabinet member or an emissary designated by President Donald J. Trump, to legitimize the birth and commencement of this "full-fledged sovereign nation" in the "liberated Eastern Nagaland"

■He explicitly rejected India's sovereignty over their land & declared that, "We will never live scattered and divided at the whims and fancies of the occupiers, that is India."

■Invoking historical revisionism, He argued that The invasion of India into Nagaland on October 1954 clearly proved that India is an invader and our occupier.
According to him, Naga independence should be pursued by mobilising support from the international community.

■Ironically, Dr Nelson Vashum is also the brother of Khasim Vashum, a sitting MLA and former Cabinet Minister in the Government of Manipur, while their elder brother, Sword Vashum is the present president of Tangkhul Naga Long and a former aspiring MLA candidate, retired after 36 years in the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IAAS).

Kuki Civil Society Organisations’ Churachandpur District strongly condemns and rejects the claim made by @crpfindia @official_dgar @Spearcorps that Mr. Lenminsang was killed in an encounter. Such a claim is a deliberate attempt to distort facts and shield those responsible for a grave injustice. This assertion is deeply disturbing and outrageous.

On 16 June 2026, Mr. Lenminsang, who had been assisting his relatives in jhum cultivation, remained at home due to illness. During the course of the day, security forces reportedly launched an operation in the village,involving drone strikes or mortar fire directed at unarmed civilians. This created an atmosphere of panic and fear among the villagers.
According to eyewitness accounts, when the bombardment occurred near the village, Mr. Lenminsang ran out of his house in fear for his safety. Witnesses state that he was pursued by security personnel from the vicinity of his residence and shot at point-blank range near the residence. When villagers later returned, they discovered his blood-stained clothes at the scene. The security personnel has subsequently altered the scene by changing his clothes and dressing him in combat attire in a calculated attempt to falsely portray him as a militant.
The whole gamut points to a cold-blooded extrajudicial killing followed by an apparent attempt at fabrication of evidence, an act that is totally against the law.
In light of this, Kuki Civil Society Organisations’ Churachandpur District demands:

1. An immediate, independent, impartial, and time-bound investigation by a competent authority.

2. Swift identification, suspension, and prosecution of all personnel involved, regardless of rank.

3. Full public disclosure of the findings to ensure transparency, accountability, and justice.

Kuki Civil Society Organisations’ Churachandpur District and the Kuki-Zo people will not remain mute spectators if justice is denied or the legitimate concerns of the community are ignored nor will it tolerate the continued targeting and misrepresentation of innocent civilians. The sentiments and rights of the people must not be disregarded.

All Central Security Forces must immediately cease any form of extrajudicial conduct in the discharge of their duties. Any action that reflects excessive use of force, bias, or illegality will be firmly resisted. Such conduct will only deepen our mistrust towards the central security forces.

UKNA Condemns Alleged Killing of Civilian Lenminsang in Churachandpur, Seeks Independent Probe

CHURACHANDPUR, June 17, 2026 — The United Kuki National Army, UKNA, has condemned the reported killing of Lenminsang at Songkong Village under Henglep Sub-Division, Churachandpur, allegedly by central security forces.

In a press statement dated June 17, 2026, UKNA clarified that “Lenminsang was never a member of, nor in any way associated with, the United Kuki National Army.” Citing reports from the ground, the group said he was a civilian, making the incident “all the more disturbing and deserving of an impartial investigation.”

UKNA expressed alarm over allegations that “after the killing, security personnel allegedly undressed the deceased and dressed him in attire associated with an underground outfit.” The group said if true, such actions would be “not only unbecoming of professional forces entrusted with the protection of civilians but also strike at the very spirit of justice and accountability enshrined in the Constitution of India.”

The organisation said the incident raises concerns regarding violation of Article 21, which guarantees the right to life and personal liberty, and Article 14, which guarantees equality before the law and equal protection of the laws. “Every citizen, irrespective of ethnicity, region, or political background, is entitled to these constitutional protections,” UKNA stated.

The group also said the incident highlights how “Kukis have become soft targets despite our consistent demand for a political solution within the Union of India,” and that “Kuki communities are too often subjected to disproportionate security actions.”

UKNA extended condolences to the bereaved family and called for a “fair, transparent, and independent inquiry to establish the truth and ensure accountability.”

🚨The Unholy Alliance:
How NSCN-IM's "Nagalim for Christ" Trained Under Osama Bin Laden at Al-Qaeda's Terror camps.

■​In 1994, Th.Muivah dispatched 7 NSCN-IM cadres to Tora Bora, Afghanistan, for terror & subversive training under Bin Laden's Terrorist Org Al-Qaeda, according to Vikiye Zhimomi, one of the original Al-Qaeda-trained NSCN-IM cadres.

■The 7 NSCN-IM cadres who underwent the 8 months training at Al-Qaeda's Terror camps are Shimreishang Tangkhul, Daniel Tangkhul, Levi Tangkhul, Vikiye Zhimomi, Hokugha Sema, Reilung Zeliang & Allen Rongmei.

■Their travel logistics were coordinated by James Tangkhul in Dhaka, Bangladesh, who arranged passports for their transit through Bangkok, where they met with Muivah & Isak. From Bangkok, they traveled to Karachi, Pakistan, undergoing theoretical training in Islamabad before receiving practical explosives training under Al-Qaeda in Tora Bora, Afghanistan.

■Since the 1990s, Hundreds of NSCN-IM cadres received military & subversive training at ISI sponsored terror camps on the outskirts of Islamabad & near the Afghanistan border.
As per the Home Ministry officials' estimates, More than 200 NSCN-IM cadres had completed their training between 1996-2000 alone in these terror camps, even after NSCN-IM engaged the Indian Govt in peace talks.

■The specialized curriculum, later detailed by one of the trainee Vikiye Zhimomi, included:
Programme Time Device (PTD) & All Time Switch (Device) ATS Chemical Explosives, Including PETN & RDX Timed Detonators.

■After completing their 8 months training at Tora Bora, the Al-Qaeda trained NSCN-IM cadres returned & deployed these advanced tactics in several major Terror attacks in India:
1️⃣December 25, 1996 (Dimapur):
The terror group tested an ATS remote-controlled bomb on the Gypsy vehicle of politician K. Hollohon as his family returned from a Christmas service. While Hollohon was not inside & escaped unharmed, the blast killed his wife Vitoli, his daughter Nishela, his granddaughter Holotoli & his two-year-old grandson Ninoto. The operation was led by NSCN-IM Lieutenant Philip Tangkhul.

2️⃣November 29, 1999 (Pherima-Piphema): Under the command of Brigadier Hanshi Tangkhul, the group ambushed the convoy of Nagaland CM S.C. Jamir. They detonated 14 powerful remote-controlled bombs, which was later suspected by authorities to be RDX.
Jamir survived the assassination attempt, but two of his bodyguards were killed.

3️⃣December 18, 2000 (Longsa Village):
In retaliation for an incident on January 22, 2000, where a Lotha mob in Wokha beat two NSCN-IM members (Atolu Sema & Solcha Anal) to death for insulting the community, the group planted a time bomb on a Dimapur-to-Wokha passenger bus.
The explosion killed four students traveling home for Christmas & injured 12 others, causing several amputations.

4️⃣October 2nd, 2004 (Dimapur):
The group simultaneously detonated two powerful time bombs at the Dimapur Railway Station & the nearby Hong Kong Market shopping complex. The twin blasts killed 29 civilians, including several women & children & injured approximately 100 others.

🚨The operational link between the NSCN-IM and Al-Qaeda was later exposed to the North East News Agency, The Northeast Sun magazine by Vikiye Zhimomi Sema, one of the original trainees.

The KukiCommunity demand strictly to do combine operation in all Tangkhul community dominant area in Ukhrul district and Kamjong district as there are lots of NSCN IM, NSCN Eastern Flank, MyammarMeiteiMilitants, Shanni National Army and Junta Military crossing border and staying in Ukhrul district and Kamjong district, including Sinakeithel village, Sareikhong, Thoyee, Leinganching and other areas.

The KukiCommunity is struggling because of Tangkhul CSO, Tangkhul pastor and NSCN IM protecting the MyammarMeiteiMilitants, Shanni National Army and Junta Military entering the India border and starting attacks on Kuki ancestral villages in Ukhrul district, Kamjong district and even Kangpokpi district.

While many Central Forces attempt to do combine operations in Tangkhul dominant areas and Liangmai areas, many Tangkhul women, Liangmai women and Meitei Merapaibis led by Tangkhul CSO and Tangkhul pastors protest and prevent security forces from entering Tangkhul community and Liangmai areas, allowing NSCN IM, NSCN Eastern Flank, ZUF Kamson Group, MyammarMeiteiMilitants, Shanni National Army and Junta Military to move freely with sophisticated weapons, ammunition, RPGs and drone strike equipment.

We appeal to the high authorities to start immediate action, especially in Senapati District, as blockades are ongoing under the command of United Naga Council and many food supplies, rice, medicines and other essential commodities have been stopped.
