Please remember that Tangkhul cadres of NSCN-IM from Ukhrul, Kamjong, and Myanmar appear to celebrate whenever there is conflict in our otherwise peaceful environment.

Please ensure that all anti-India and anti-social elements among the Tangkhul NSCN-IM cadres leave Tamenglong, Chandel, Senapati, and Noney districts at the earliest.

Our gestures of goodwill, love, and care toward you should not be mistaken for weakness. We can still talk and resolve our differences as per tribal customary law.

The moment we stand together and live peacefully, the influence of Tangkhul leaders like Thuingaleng Muivah, V.S. Atem, Sword Vashum, and Dr. Nelson Vashum will diminish permanently. That is what these people are scared of.

I expected, at the very least, a statement of condemnation from the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri Yumnam Khemchand; the Hon’ble Home Minister of Manipur, Shri Govindas Konthoujam; and Manipur Police regarding this morning’s brazen assault by Refugee Tangkhul NSCN-IM cadres from Myanmar on India’s territorial sovereignty.

It has been observed that they often remain silent whenever the Kuki-Zo community is attacked. Had a similar incident occurred involving the Tangkhul community, many would have come forward and stated, “I had a sleepless night.”

Phaimol Village is situated approximately 42 km from the District Headquarters at Chassad, Kamjong District. This is my humble appeal to the Hon’ble Home Minister, Shri @AmitShah Ji, to take stringent action immediately against the Refugee Tangkhul NSCN-IM cadres allegedly involved in this act and their associates, whomsoever they may be.

A deeply troubling incident has been reported from the Songkong area of Henglep Sub-Division on 16 June 2026. According to local accounts,Indian Army 21 Para Commandos and 19 AR personnel allegedly engaged village volunteers stationed for community protection,leading to the death of Mr. Lenminsang,the son of the chief of Kolchung Village.

Reports further suggest that his body was removed from the scene, fueling widespread concern and suspicion regarding the circumstances surrounding his death.

Given the seriousness of these allegations, there must be a prompt and impartial inquiry to establish the facts. Any attempt to suppress the truth or misrepresent the incident would only deepen public mistrust. Those responsible, regardless of rank or position, must be held accountable under the law.
The people deserve answers.The family deserves justice.

Incinerated to death by NSCN-IM and its proxies on 11th June 2026 (Thursday).

🔺Continuing the cycle of unmitigated attacks on the Kuki community, two members—Letminlun Haokip (34) and Lunminthang Haokip (36)—were brutally killed in a pre-dawn attack on their village, Kultuh, in Kamjong district, reportedly by armed militants of NSCN-IM.

🔺The attackers burnt down several houses, forcing villagers, including women and children, to flee into the jungle.

🔺The deceased, Letminlun Haokip, served as the Head Deacon of his local church and Circle Secretary of the Kuki Baptist Convention (KBC), Circle No. 17, while Lunminthang Haokip was the Youth Chairman of the local church and Youth Secretary of the Kuki Baptist Convention, Circle No. 17.

🔺They leave behind grieving families and a ministry cut short by a senseless act of violence. Justice—whether delivered by man or by God—shall ultimately befall the perpetrators of this heinous crime.

🚨 Disabled student taken as hostage by Student Association in Manipur Crisis

Among the Kuki hostages abducted in Senapati is Hengunsei Khongsai, a physically-disabled orphaned minor suffering from Muscular Dystrophy and certified with 38% permanent disability. Despite his condition, crushing poverty forced him to work daily wage labour during school holidays to support his family.

While returning from work, he and other Kuki civilians were allegedly kidnapped near Mt. Everest College Gate by volunteers of the Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) in broad daylight even while under police escort and protection.

Concerned Authorities must treat the release of Hengunsei Khongsai and the other 13 Kuki Hostages as priority of the highest order so as to de-escalate the presently tense situation in Manipur.
