@patrickbrownont@ChiefNish@DeputyOdoardi@DeputyAndrews@DC_Milinovich@PeelPolice This was a really good exercise in Community engagement. It was great to hear directly from Brampton residents what was important to them on policing and public safety issues.
This kind of community feedback is very important for effective police governance.
Well done #Brampton
🧊 Cold Water, Warm Hearts 💙
225 participants took the plunge into icy waters in support of @SOOntario 👏
Through ongoing fundraising efforts leading up to the event, an incredible $170,000 was raised this year, bringing the four-year total to over $700,000 and supporting thousands of athletes across the province.
Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, community partners, and everyone who donated and cheered us on. Peel is stronger together!
Brampton is taking a major step forward in community safety with the groundbreaking of a new state-of-the-art police facility that will house one of Canada's top forensic labs, a first-of-its-kind Detainee Processing Unit, and direct support for one of the country's busiest courthouses. This investment ensures Peel Police has the modern tools and resources they need to combat organized crime and keep our growing city safe.

Congratulations to Peel Police Service Board member Al Boughton on his election as Chair of the @OAPSB — a proud achievement for both him and the Board.
At the conference, senior members of Peel Regional Police and the Board, alongside Professor @AOBempah , presented on key topics, including the role of governance, academia, and police in advancing a human rights–focused, community-centered approach, and building culturally responsive service delivery for a changing community. We appreciate the opportunity to contribute to these important conversations as we continue to evolve in consultation with the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
This is a game changer for @PeelPolice support for community wellbeing. By raising and allocating funds for such vital causes, PRP is strengthening its place as a significant partner in the @regionofpeel Social Service eco-System.
Exciting news! Today, @CatherineBizTV our new Volunteer Board Chair & I had the privilege of announcing the launch of the @prpfoundation —a new non-profit dedicated to funding collaborative public safety initiatives. The foundation will work closely with community partners to raise charitable funds and tackle urgent challenges like mental health, addiction & intimate partner violence. Grateful to our Police Service Board Chair Nando Iannicca for his support and to all who made this possible. Together, we’re strengthening Peel through innovative public-police solutions.
We have the best Police Service in Canada and they give their time to support Special Olympics. 23,000 athletes across Ontario will benefit with the funds raised through our annual Polar Plunge.
Pleased to bring greetings from PRP Service Board at launch of YES.

I am proud to introduce our new youth engagement strategy—a commitment to building trust, fostering understanding, and creating positive pathways for the young people in our community.
Together, we aim to empower their voices, provide meaningful opportunities, and strengthen the bonds that unite us all for a safer and brighter future.

Today, alongside PPSB we shared an update on 911 wait times and misuse of the service. Amazing job by our 911 communicators for significant improvements in reducing both. These outcomes reflect investment in technology & in our people to improve public safety in our region. #PRP
