@scterrtrt@Lrcfc19@K_h__1888 Bang on. Sad reality is % of our support base their political opinion on Ultra groups or cite commonalities with Irish migration in early 20th century. Over simplified comparison, there is an immigration crisis in the UK. Cultural dilution of Glasgow is appalling.
@gdog1874@andymuirhd Celtic made no offer for Miller in summer window. Even better, Miller’s agent contacted Celtic to understand if any interest remained before he committed to signing for Hearts 😂😂😂
@Inmemoryofthet1 I absolutely hate fans of our club. Tierney one of top earners in our squad. In what world would be have 2 of our top earners both playing left back? Both past peak of their careers. Make it make sense, absolutely drivel. Tierney plagued by injury, Robertson not.
@Schmuley_Schlo@gtj1247 Disgraceful summation. Innocent civilians were brutalised and imprisoned. Two wrongs don’t make a right, in any case. You can support Palestine while acknowledging Hamas has carried out abhorrent crimes on Israeli civilians, granted nowhere comparable to war crimes of Israel.
Section was fine and Jordan was absolutely spot on. If you’re condemn Keane based on WORKING in Israel (not his views, which we don’t know) then the next thing is ‘well what about adidas? Who sponsor kits of Israeli clubs?’ What about someone who visits? What about someone whose friends are Israeli? What are the rules here? And who makes them?
Get this poorly informed ideological posturing out of sport.
Keane should be assessed solely on capability.
@rain_again@celticfitba No reliable source to inform actual sentiment here. Based on past evidence, X would have you believe there was nobody registered on the HCTS + 90% of fans wanted board sacked. Reality inside Parkhead tells materially different story. I believe majority of fans are agnostic
@PJ_1888@liamcsc@Gre3nProphet What is the fundamental issue with Keane? I genuinely don’t know. View that accepting role in Israel conveys that he supports heinous acts of Israel? Is it not palatable if Keane has an agnostic view / no interest? Working for the state, pledging support, endorsing - fair enough.
@neilmckeown4600@20MinuteTims Curious about this, what’s issue with his track record? Don’t think he’s an exciting appointment but certainly don’t think he is anywhere near as bad or under-qualified as some are suggesting.
@JoeBhoy16@ACSOMPOD@yogijunior3 1) Keane was a football mgr, not state employee.
2) Has won more trophies than last 8 mgr appointments, with materially higher win %. Ferencvaros accrued 68pts - largely consistent with previous seasons + would have won 10/11 prev titles + navigated new squad rules in doing so
@BEALFEIRSTE1888@ScottMc76453430 Not remotely comparable, is it? We’re now comparing a football mgr to war criminals. Discourse on this is absolutely insane. Bedroom socialists whose political contribution extends no further than social media and Celtic Park.
@ScottMc76453430 Difference between working for the state and within a state. Different conversation if Keane was in the IDF, he was a football manager ffs. Where do we draw lines on morality? Should no mgr take charge at Celtic because the IRA killed civilians?
@Gre3nProphet Remember the maaa cancellation of HCTS but absolutely nobody cancelled? X sentiment doesn’t represent the fans. Sack the board made that crystal clear to me. I personally back Keane for the job and will support.
@fitzy_ge I don’t believe this at all, will create division in the fan base but social media is largely an echo chamber that platforms loud minorities. X would have you thinking fans were 90% anti-board, Celtic Park nowhere near the same sentiment. Keane will be the same.
@dcass1888@weedavebhoy@TheTributeAct What’s the actual problem here with Keane being manager? Implied support for Israel because he accepted a paycheque there? Displeased with the ethics of his decision making? I honestly can’t understand what is going on here.
@CraigSim@TEnglishSport Studs above the boot isn’t an automatic red card. Force is the key assessment, clear as day the contact is extremely soft / glancing. Yellow is a good decision. I think out of all contentious decisions, this one is most definitely correct.
@anmcd90@Alan_Morrison67@siwypod I don’t think that’s accurate mate. Think net for the season if you base on KMI panel is Celtic + 2, Hearts -1 in terms of decisions for / against.
