@anymanfitness How about no more taxes until the government balances a budget and eliminates all waste? The only conversation anyone should be having about taxes is how much over taxing already takes place.
@Wendi_Irlbeck 1000% Travel in youth sports is extremely overused. 1 or 2 out of town events a year is enough. Kids and sports would flourish with more rec style leagues. Thinning the herd by 13 gives us a much smaller talent pool later on in life.
@M_Meyer3 I will never understand the tank for pick logic. Who enjoys watching their team lose. Fix the lottery then all non playoff teams have the same odds of top pick that way everyone competes till the final game. The league is alrdy so close and the yrs draft could b a bunch of busts.
@gatewaygrinders I was sad to see him go. While the returned sounds nice on paper. I am glad he exercised his right to stay. I was upset with Krug when he did it, because I was never a big fan of his game. As a human though I respect both of their decisions.
@ObliviousCactus@M_Meyer3 Half of the supporting cast is already here Snuggy, Dvorsky, Halloway, Kyrou, Buchy, Broberg, Parayko, Then you have Carbineau, Stenberg, a few more who are getting closer + whoever we draft this year and hopefully a top 5 pick. Thomas is also cost controlled.
@ThomasWalterMc@gatewaygrinders This league is built for parody. You could go from the bottom of the league and win the cup in like 2/3 years. While the Blues have been bad this year. They are not as bad as they seem imo. We already have a few really good prospects who are close too.
@ObliviousCactus@M_Meyer3 This team without Thomas is 6 years from being a contender. This team with him is closer to 2/3. There is so much parody in this league. This team has lost a lot of close games and underperformed most of the year. You add a top 5 pick next year and boom!
@jprutherford@coreypronman@nytimes I do not understand all this trading Thomas chatter. Why in the world would you trade one of your cost controlled top guys just entering his Prime. Especially when the Blues already have a pipeline of players on the way. The way I see it. Trade a vet or two. No need to blow it up
