Level The Paying Field

Baseball owners agree: a salary cap would make baseball more profitable.

It's time to level the paying field.

We prefer not to survey fans about things we make money from

[Robert Stock @RobertStock6]

MLB is dedicated to a salary cap because they surveyed the fans…ok show me the survey on blackouts next.

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@espn Well this is awkward

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@BayAreaBrennan Talk to us when you own a team. It's not easy

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

Exactly! Please ignore the games and focus on our TV ads. Thank you Chris

[Chris Mack @THEChrisMack]

Do. not. let a Brewers-Rays/Guardians World Series matchup convince you that MLB doesn’t need a cap and floor system.

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@THEChrisMack Exactly! Please ignore the games and focus on our TV ads. Thank you Chris

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

Please stop telling them

[CRE @RafaelaEnjoyer]

Do pro salary cap people know their owners could go spend more right now if they wanted to

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@RafaelaEnjoyer Please stop telling them

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

Well this is awkward

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@GDMLosB You could've just stopped at "They've done a great job"

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@MarkKnudson41 The game belongs to the players? We'll see about that on December 1. We've got the keys to the stadiums.

[Caaasillas @Caaasibaby]

There needs to be a MLB lockout. We can’t allow small market teams to dominate by playing fundamental baseball!

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@benwhitelaw73 That's a lot of words to say we're good at business

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@ScottPorch1 @Nyanasaur Only $14? Who approved that??

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@MichaelaB_22 Michaela, would you like to join our team? We can't pay you much

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@terribletakes28 @lockout2027 @TheKyleDe Damn straight we aren't!

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

We're big fans of capitalism. As long as we make the rules

[Travel Time @TTime34980]

@LevelThePaField @OsSunglassGuy y'all are commies

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

Of course you weren't. We were very careful about which fans we surveyed

[jannel @jnnl36]

1. i was not surveyed about this

2. you don't need a salary cap, you just need to annihilate one single team, and we don't even need to tell you which one. you know who it is.

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@KimSchuss Phew, thank God

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@ThePhilliesPod No no, our survey clearly shows that fans want us to make more money

[Level The Paying Field @LevelThePaField]

@hereformarsh Luck had nothing to do with it
