@gunnargray Much cleaner overall but the discoverability of the swipe gesture is missing. Didn't clock you could do that until seeing this post, and have been tapping the icons each time (a worse ux than before). A small swipe action affordance would go a long way.
@JoeWelstead how about "guilt free hydration - just add to water"
the shift from diet coke -> water + oshun that the customer is expressing here is "i was doing something I know was bad but liked, and now i do something I know is good and also like for the same end result (hydration)".
@reflectnotes having trouble with the chrome plugin for highlighting pdfs viewed in browser. (ex. https://t.co/a6W324dNfo)
highlights aren't being autosaved, and when manually saving a new link is created with the url as 'chrome-extension://....'
Any clues how to resolve?
@zebulgar number 5 (personal inputs) and 20 (physical space matters) really resonate with me - also wish I had learned 29 much sooner (writing is thinking).
which one do you wish you had noticed sooner the most?
@Altimor I wonder if the downside/upside equation feels terrifying for most because we're just bad at exponential thinking.
Could a chess analogy could be applied to risk taking itself? i.e. the game is risk, the strategies are; cap downside, think in exponents, etc...
@gdb in the current context, where'd you advise a novice eng to focus their learning? is it worth it to focus on small details when those can be implemented easily with the help of chatGPT?
